HEALTH + SAFETY
When choosing to visit Mid-Town Motel, you join our community. We want to make sure we are keeping our guests and employees happy and safe—please review our Health + Safety guidelines closely before visiting our motel for the most recent COVID-19 protocols and information related to your stay with us.
DEPOSITS, CANCELLATIONS, & REFUNDS
A deposit equal to 50% of the stay (plus 9% lodging tax) per room is charged to guarantee your reservation. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Your balance is due upon arrival at the inn (travelers checks or cash are also accepted at check-in). For one-night stays or stays booked within three days of arrival, the full amount of the stay will be collected at the time a reservation is made.
As an independently owned and operated inn, we do not overbook our accommodations – each reservation is made for specific dates, room(s), and number of guests, and we are expecting you. Cancellations and changes made with short notice impact us significantly.
We understand plans can change, and we will do our best to move your reservation or assist with a cancellation. While we have the most lenient cancellation policy that we know of for a lodging property, we do ask for your assistance in the event you need to change your plans. After your reservation is confirmed, cancellation notice is required 14 days in advance of your arrival date to obtain a refund of your deposit, subject to a $25 refund fee.
With less than 14 days’ notice, we can only refund your deposit if we are able to sell the room to other guests for all nights reserved. We do our best to refund deposits and ask that guests give us as much notice of cancellations as possible.
The cancellation policy also applies to changes in your arrival or departure date that result in a shorter stay. Refunds are not provided for late arrivals or early departures, again, unless we are able to fill the vacancy.
GIFT CERTIFICATE OPTION
As a small business, cancellations at this time are difficult for us to process and appreciate refunds being taken in the form of a gift certificate for a future stay (certificates are valid for 10 years). If a gift certificate is chosen for the refund, it will be for the full amount of the deposit, the cancellation fee would not apply.
AVAILABILITY, RATES, & RESERVATIONS
Check availability and reserve online anytime – the system is always completely current and provides our best rates.
A two and three-night minimum stay is the norm throughout our short and busy season. We are happy to help with shorter stays, so please call us about one-night stays and same-day reservations. We will do our best to accommodate your requests.
Room rates are for single or double occupancy and are subject to Maine lodging tax, currently 9%.
All of our guest rooms have one queen, one king, or two twin beds and accommodate a maximum of two people. No extra guests are allowed beyond stated capacity.
Room rates include convenient on-site parking and wireless internet.
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in is between 3:00 and 7:00pm. Arrivals after 7:00pm are fine, we will make arrangements for self-check-in. Please call prior to 7:00pm with any questions. Checkout time is 11:00am.

PETS & SERVICE ANIMALS
We offer 3 dog-friendly rooms (in the Queen room category) that all offer exterior entrances. If you are traveling with your canine friend, please call the motel directly at (207) 633-2206 to make your reservation. There is a pet charge of $25 per dog per day (no more than 2 dogs, and limited to 70 pounds each).
Please be aware that dogs are the only pets allowed, they must never be left in a guest room alone, and are welcome only on our patios and exterior common areas of the motel, and only while on leash. While we love our pets, not all of our guests feel the same way. For this reason, dogs are never permitted in interior public spaces.
As a condition of reserving a room at our motel, you agree to pay a $250.00 fee if any pets are found in rooms not designated as dog-friendly, or if your animal causes stains or damage to a pet-friendly guest room.
HOUSEKEEPING
Mid-Town Motel offers our guests a daily light touch housekeeping service of their room. Full-service housekeeping of your room is always available upon request.
SMOKING & COOKING
Mid-Town Motel is a 100% smoke, vape, and flame-free property. Cooking and cooking devices of any type (hot plates, slow cookers, grills, etc.) are strictly prohibited in all guest rooms. A $250 cleaning surcharge will be imposed on any room where guests have burned candles, smoked (including e-cigarettes), vaped, or cooked in their rooms, on balconies/patios, or anywhere on property.
ALCOHOL POLICY
Whether or not we sell alcohol on the premises, guests must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcohol. As our common spaces are used by all guests, we ask everyone to drink responsibly and be considerate of others around them.
GUEST RESPONSIBILITY
While accidents do happen, guests will be financially responsible for damages due to gross negligence.
